LV-1: Awareness
The CERT awareness page is for citizens who want to learn about emergency preparedness but don’t want to take formal classes (which are typically held in a classroom setting with a set curriculum and schedule), participate in educational activities, or avoid structured training (which follows a specific program or course) and practical exercises. CERT will implement an awareness campaign to educate the community on handling natural and man-made emergencies and disasters by themselves.
